People in Transition
Making Sense Of The Space In Between
We understand that life can change fast and sometimes we find ourselves, in the "space between"—a career change, a move, a health recovery, or a loss of identity. The old maps no longer work, and the new one hasn't been drawn yet?
We provide the tools, the structure, and the support to help you move from who you were to who you’re becoming—without losing your footing.
Leaders and Organizations
Going Beyond the Boardroom
True professional development isn't about adding skills; it’s about evolving your presence. We trade the fluorescent lights of the office for the filtered light of the forest canopy.
For leaders continuing to evolve, the "old way" of leading no longer fits, but the new way hasn't quite landed. We provide a grounded space to navigate that shift. By partnering with horses, and observing the distributed leadership style of a horse herd, you’ll receive immediate, non-judgemental feedback on presence, your pressure, and your authenticity. This experience is a recalibration of your leadership DNA, helping you move through change with a steady hand and a clear mind.
A Leadership Lab Without Walls
We replace conference rooms with the forest canopy to help leaders in transition find their next gear.
1. The Mirror: Equine-Partnered Leadership
Step into the herd to experience “distributed leadership” in its purest form. Horses provide instant, unfiltered feedback on your presence and emotional intelligence—reflecting your leadership style back to you more honestly than any 360-degree review.
2. The Space: Lunchtime Forest Bathing
We trade the "working lunch" for a guided immersion in the woods. These walks are a strategic reset for your nervous system, designed to quiet the mental chatter so you can actually hear the answers that have been drowned out by the noise of the office.
3. The Path: Grounded Integration
By combining the feedback from the herd with the clarity found in the forest, you gain more than just "skills." You leave with a recalibrated presence and a clear, grounded roadmap for the transition ahead.
Shinrin Yoku Discovery Walks
Shinrin Yoku is the Japanese word that translates to “forest bathing” or “taking in the forest’s atmosphere.” During each walk you will be guided through a variety of experiences in nature that bring you into your body, connect you with the natural world, and slow your mind. Imagine taking in your natural surroundings through all your senses- sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste to become truly present. This is not a hike, and anyone can participate. We end each walk with a tea ceremony.
“Thank you so much for today’s Forest Bathing walk. I can’t tell you how serene and at peace I feel right now....feelings I have lost during so much of my life.”
Equine Gestalt Sessions- Gestalt loosely translates to flowing into wholeness.
Horses naturally reflect back what we are holding back and support us in finding peace, wholeness, and clarity. During these sessions you will have the opportunity to partner horses to assist you in finding your truth in the moment and discover the next steps needed in your life. If you feel stuck and unhappy, your world is turned upside down , or your past trauma is sneaking up, come see what a horse can teach you.
For more information on Gestalt and where I am certified, HERE is a lovely article from Horse and Rider Magazine.
“Amy made me feel heard, seen, felt, and gotten. She brought me from a dark hole to enlightenment.”
Leading From Within
We are all leaders. We lead ourselves through life’s journey. Partnering with horses redefines leadership and helps us become the leader we want be it for ourselves, our organizations, or our families. They provide us with information without judgement and lead us to break-throughs during uncertain and challenging times. During these sessions we explore four main capabilities of leadership that horses teach us and how it relates to your unique challenges.
“Amy’s coaching is graceful and direct all at the same time. She is always encouraging and challenging her clients to unveil their inner truth”
Land Stewardship
One of the best ways to reconnect with yourself is by getting back to your roots and healing the land. During our healing the land projects, we create experiences with public land agencies and local farms so you can learn about the land, yourself, and others while giving back to areas that need it most. These projects end with Shinrin Yoku walks and self-reflection experiences.
“Amy has a joyful presence that she brings to all her events. In the grief that follows loss, that joy can be a gateway to the healing question “what comes next?”. Her guidance wakes the eye to all that carries on in the in earth’s perpetual cycle.””
